Greed
True greed is hesitation: Wanting to know for sure before you jump, Squandering a million what-ifs, Trying them all before you fall, Waiting too long to say ‘I love you,’ Losing the chance to begin before you've begun. Greedy fear robbing you back from the cliff's edge, Taking you back to paths well-worn, Because you could not definitively say That they were not for you; Waking up on the same circling paths, Finding the cliff has up and gone. © 2024 @StaceyBattlestheWorld
