Leave a piece of me In last year Where we all still kept goals, Where the world still had hope; Where I still had peace. Leave a piece of me Like a bookmark In the happier times When I didn’t know Happiness was so rare. Leave a piece of me Back in the chapters Where I found myself; Not here at the world's end With its cliffs of despair.
